The following is a list of the top ten essential things you need for your new born baby.
1. Nappies
Happy babies are those that have dry and clean bums. For the cost conscious, then reusable nappies are perfect, but disposable nappies are just as comfortable and more hygienic, however will cost much more in the long run.
2. Cotton Wool

3. Mittens
Just like fully grown adults, babies can get cold. Ensuring your child wears mittens will prevent their extremities from feeling the cold. Also, mittens will stop your baby from scratching and cutting themselves from their long fingernails, which are difficult to cut on newborns; so mittens are great alternative.
4. Clothing
With newborns, you’ll need plenty of baby clothes, especially pyjamas, because they’ll be plenty of accidents and mishaps. If you purchase the clothes second hand you’ll save tonnes of money. Making sure your baby is warm is crucial, so buy baby grows with hoods and feet; warm air can escape through your baby’s head and extremities, so this outfit will prevent that from happening.
5. Cot

You can either buy a special unit that sterilises all your feeding equipment or sterilising tablets which are just as effective and much cheaper. This will protect your baby from germs and infections which they’re vulnerable to at such an early age.
8. Bouncer Seat
A great alternative to the cot or high chair is a bouncer seat. Having somewhere else for your baby to sit will keep them stimulated and happy, especially if there are bright colours and features for your baby to grab and play with. Some bouncer seats vibrate to help put the baby to sleep.
9. Activity Mat
At such an early stage of development it’s important that your child is stimulated with bright colours, toys and sounds. With an activity map, you’ll achieve this greatly. Your baby will have their own little world that is safe and fun at the same time.

Transporting your child safely and effectively is highly necessary. There are so many different types of travelling systems, from car seats, to prams and strollers, but to make it easy you can now buy all in one combo travelling systems.
